Im so shocked and angry watching this

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/01/2013 22:19

I'm in tears of rage. That smug bastard in the back of that wagon...

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/01/2013 22:20

Rukhsana....How does anyone bear such suffering?

runaroundstartsnow · 16/01/2013 22:24

What nasty smug ,shifty looking men. How can they get away with this?

ChooChooLaverne · 16/01/2013 22:25

Oh my God. I don't think I've ever felt so angry watching something on TV. What is wrong with those horrible smirking men?

KissysUnderTheMisteltoe · 16/01/2013 22:34

Makes me so angry and sad! And that man saying 99 percent of the women burnt themselves?!! WTF?!

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/01/2013 22:35

Nasty, cowardly, inadequate little fuckers. Eugh.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/01/2013 22:38

The conspiracy of it. Family members helping and concealing the crime. WTAF?!

ChooChooLaverne · 16/01/2013 22:44

There are times when I'm so thankful that I live in the UK.

mybootsaremuddy · 16/01/2013 22:46

Those poor poor women. I cant begin to imagine what they must be going through.

Those smug vile bastard men dont deserve the time of day pure evil! I cant believe they get away with it!! And WTF would belive that any of these women did that to themselves!!

StarlightMcKenzie · 16/01/2013 23:09

Just started watching on Channel 4 +1 Am in tears of rage and frustration.

EnjoyResponsibly · 16/01/2013 23:12

I'm utterly overwhelmed by that programme.

I cannot consider the men that did this. I'm just so angry.

But bloody hell. You have to be humbled by those women, the children, the lawyers, the politicians and that awesome doctor.

If there is a God, and all of them were so certain there was, it has to be one who smiles on these people. Those who have suffered must find justice and an escape from pain, those that help them...words fail me...just fantastic.

I'm gibbering, I know, but it's rare you see goodness in action.

SucksToBeMe · 16/01/2013 23:17

I've never been so angry that I've cried. Animals behave better. That doctor is an amazing man.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/01/2013 23:22

Zakia is amazing. The courage and dignity she showed....I am so glad she got justice.

EnjoyResponsibly · 16/01/2013 23:25

I'm feeling a LOT of love for the doctor. I feel for his frustration at his limitations.

innoparticularorder · 16/01/2013 23:27

I hope Ruksana gets justice too, in the mean time she's at the will of the animals that did this to her Sad

ggirl · 16/01/2013 23:29

I would be frightened to have a daughter in Pakistan...those women are so vulnerable.

catinthesnow · 16/01/2013 23:45

Dh and I watched this and were shocked to the core. "What sort of warped person does this to his wife and why?" was what my dh asked.
Thank goodness for all those who offer support to these very brave women, the children for their unconditional love. It is heartbreaking.

I hope the women get justice and peace.

EnjoyResponsibly · 16/01/2013 23:45

But Inno you heard her lying motherfucker husband, she threw gasoline over herself

Angry x a million

Booyhoo · 17/01/2013 02:59

i've just watched this (but it failed to record after zakia got her verdict so i dont know what happened after that)

those vile vile men. and the families! supporting the husbands! thank goodness parliament is starting to move forward and protect these women. they seem totally powerless. i cant imagine how rukshana felt having to go back to that house and make up with her husband and his family after they burned her. Sad i cant help thinking there will be repercussions for those that spoke on camera/were involved in the documentary.

also, was anyone else wondering if rukshana's husband intended pregnancy to prevent her getting surgery? she really did not seem to be happy about it.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 17/01/2013 09:50

All I could think when Rukhsana found that she was pregnant was 'She can't even say no to sex. She has no power at all' :( It was very hard to watch.

Booyhoo · 17/01/2013 10:06

yes totally. when the doctor asked her if she had been using birth control she said she ahd but there had been problems. i wondered if the problems had been problems for her or problems for her husband

quite scary that he was also arrested for kidnapping a 13 year old. i dread to think what was going on there.

StarlightMcKenzie · 17/01/2013 10:08

Vile vile vile!
