HELP - what's the cartoon character I'm thinking of?

It's a geeky cartoon guy - big plain face. I'm sure he's a professor or something like that? I seem to think he has very tiny eyes and is rather bald.

I've looked at images from the Simpsons and can't see the character, but I'm sure he must be from a well-known series.

Can you help? Link to an image if you think you know.

This guy has an expressionless face, is thick set and balding. It's a line drawing - just a black line I think - kind of like a drawn version of the Muppets character from BunnyLebowski .

I think his face/head is thicker at the bottom than the top.

I think he's a very minor character in something quite well known.

BTW - this all stems from me seeing a guy in the pub who looked just like him! But I couldn't ask my companion 'don't you think that man looks like X?' because I can't remember the bloomin' name!!
