Hayley! Shock At the end of this year. Wonder how they'll write her out? Can't imagine poor Roy without her Sad

Is this why she seems so keen to get him and mary friends again?

I hope they dont have them get together once Hayley goes.

ForFoxsGlacierMints · 12/01/2013 20:56

Poor Royston, it'll not be the same without them. I think she'd need to die to leave!

theliverpoolone · 12/01/2013 21:05

Didnt think about him and Mary - I hope not, too!

She has only just resigned. I doubt the writers have decided what to do with her since last week! I can't see her leaving in a taxi. I also think it will be in a coffin. Sad.

That is a shame. Sad I like Hayley.

PuffPants · 18/01/2013 21:45

Not cancer! I still remember when Alma died, so traumatic. I just don't think people want to watch that, it's not entertainment just very upsetting. Especially if you've gone through it or are going through it.

Sleepyfergus · 19/01/2013 09:18

I read that she has a year left so will be leaving at te end of this year. Very sad. I think he will have to die. No other reason to spilt her an Roy up. Hope it's not cancer but then again I don't really want another tram/canal/car accident type finale.

Such a shame as she and Roy portray such sweet and innocent characters which no hidden agendas.

VoiceofUnreason · 21/01/2013 15:04

When I heard the news I thought "she'll have to die" because there is no way you could possibly split those two up in any other way. It would be totally unbelieveable that either would leave the other. And I have but little doubt it will be one of the most astonishingly poignant, sad and brilliantly acted set of episodes because David Neilson is just a superb actor as Roy (nothing against Julie H).

It's like when they sacked Peter Baldwin (Derek Wilton) and Stephen Hancock (Ernie Bishop). Neither would ever have left their other halves or vice versa. Therefore you either have to get rid of both characters or the one has to die.
