Privates - this week on BBCone. Anyone else watch it?

It was on all this week after Doctors. Really good it was, me and my mum both enjoyed it.

Hi - I watched it this week whilst catching up with my mount Everest mountain pile! - I recorded it and found myself quite enjoying it! - My mum and dad really loved it, dad had done National Service so found it very nostalgic......... I think it would make quite a decent series, some of the characters were really well done. Would love to know where it was filmed? Scotland somewhere? Looked lovely.

Yes we were trying to figure out where it was filmed also. It said North YorkShire on the uniforms but could be filmed elsewhere of course. My Mum was telling me all about my dad and uncle doing National service so she found it nostalgic too. Apparently when my uncle came home he had turned into a really good cook much to my Grandmother's bemusement as she didn't think men should cook! Lol!

Hi again. Just looking at the reviews and it seems to have been pretty much slated all round for not being very accurate......but was filmed in Northern Ireland,it looked like such lovely scenery. It was light but I thought it did well with all the 60s music, detail etc, definitely more interesting than a lot of day time television!

Oh that's a shame I thought it was quite good and as you say, refreshingly good for day time tv. My mum did mention it said something about Northern Ireland on the credits at the end so that makes sense.

Didn't see it and presumed from the thread title it was about genitals. Not very BBC
