I saw Saira, I think that is how you spell it at a business do I went to recently and being the saddo that I am asked her what she had been up to. She does a lot of public speaking and is actually quite glad now she didn't win but they both worked for Alan Sugar for six months at the end because he could not decide who had won. They filmed two endings. He gave her a job to increase sales at a company with no marketing budget or support and hefty targets. She thought it was an impossible task. He then chose Tim at the end of the six months' trial period and they showed that ending. I felt a bit let down when I found that out but then I am a reality TV junkie. Tim still works for him.

Saira is also doing some charity work, although I did turn her down when offered her support at an even I am organising!!

A couple of weeks ago I heard Siara on 'Any Questions' on Radio 4. Really odd to hear her next to the heavyweight politicians they usually have on that show.

So has he done the same thing with Michelle and Ruth then I wonder?

Heard Tim on radio earlier this week. He is running a health and beauty arm of AS' empire and plans to be there for the foreseeable.

riddleywalker · 13/05/2006 19:45

I saw a programme about Time a while ago where they were deciding if AS would keep him on after the initial year. It talked about the fact he works 12 hour days and hardly sees his wife & little girl, and also about the project je was running, some gadget that supposedly gets rid of wrinkles. They were getting Nell McAndrew to endorse it (like she needs a de-wrinkling machine!!!). It all seemed a bit of an anti-climax to me. AS decided to keep Tim on but on a normal salary & still working ridiculous hours. Looked crap to me!

A good friend of mine knows Tim well and last time we spoke he was doing well and wsa still there. Not sure about salary. I know he hasn't left his flat but i think now he intends to. Will check in with my friend and if I find out anything I will post.
