Noooo when??? I know I thought that when they did a fake death episode with him, but was told he was returning!

Just googled it. Apparently the last episode was the double with the school girls being abducted for sex - was shown as a one off in autumn as was delayed. I remember watching it but don't remember him leaving. I know he was living with nikki for a bit of those episodes. They were harrowing watching though so don't think I processed much else round the storyline.

I'm glad others don't remember him leaving either. Saw the advert for the new series and DP and I were discussing if there had been an episode about him leaving and DP was absolutely convinced there had been, although to be honest the last series was so farcical and OTT we couldn't remember much about it at all!

Oh no love Harry! I didn't watch all of Silent Witness last time as some of the story lines and scenes were a bit too much for me. Hoping this season will be a bit more watchable.

And after the longest obvious sexual tension in tv history(well, BBC history) he didn't even get together with Nicky. Cue much brooding from her in the new series and me shouting "you had plenty chances you dumb woman!" at the tv.
