My sky box has gone funny and wiped all recordings. I am desperate to find the next episode of greys, last I had recorded was episode 7 of season 9...Meredith told Derek she was pregnant in final scene.

Pls could someone tell me when next airing as I can not find anywhere.

Thanks

It's on Sky Living all day today, old episodes though. I presume it will be back on 9 Jan?

FatimaLovesBread · 28/12/2012 14:23

They always have a mid season break in America which coincides with our Xmas and new year, it's normally back on late Jan.

But after coming on to answer your question I've now discovered what happens as they're all on my TiVo waiting to be watched. That'll teach me

This is a link to a site where you can catch up on the ones you have missed.

There's a gap until January on ABC in USA. I watch it on sidereel which gives you dates for next episode.

They have a mid season break over xmas, very annoying! It will be back in a week or two :)

Wolfiefan · 31/12/2012 14:36

Watching for news of dates with interest.

feckfeckfeckfeck. Forgot I hadn't watched the most recent episode yet. Didn't know about that little development. I walked right into that. Grin

BTW its not due back until February.

You can watch for the exact date on this site www.geektown.co.uk/uk-air-dates/

Makingchanges · 01/01/2013 22:14

Yes they said after the last episode it was taking a break, didn't say when it would return though

crazyforbaby · 01/01/2013 23:39

Hi Bbface, I live in Canada and have watched 1 more episode than u have.
Do you want to pm me if you want the latest goss abt Gray's?!
The networks took a break over Christmas for such Christmas 'Classics' as Dame Edna Everage interviewing Lulu-circa 1978. Seriously, I kid you not...Sob, I want to go hoooome! Hmm

Doshusallie · 02/01/2013 20:25

5madthings · 04/01/2013 13:14

The 22nd of Feb, are they trying to make me cry :( wails I needed greys anatomy!

Arithmeticulous · 04/01/2013 17:50

Really channel are showing some episodes, I have no idea which season from though.

tribpot · 04/01/2013 17:54

Sigh - the price we pay for kicking off with Grey's before the other US shows, most of which start their UK season next week. Ho hum! I don't think I'd realised we were in for such a long break as it's not like Grey's starting showing in September or anything. Wot a drag.

montage · 04/01/2013 21:33

Could be worse- shows like Modern Family and The Middle did start in September and are now gone until April. I now fully understand what a "mid-season hiatus" is and i do not like it.

tribpot · 04/01/2013 21:46

It's awful, isn't it? You get what the point of these 'previously on ' bit are about at the beginning - god only knows when the last episode was actually shown. It might not even have been in the same century.

I wonder if there any other country that does this with its TV schedule (except when showing US shows, in fairness). I get that the idea is to sell some guaranteed good advertising spots on the established shows like Grey's, which helps to iron out the lower revenue from new shows as they get a few eps to prove themselves (and it can be literally three or four before they get the plug pulled). But then it just seems to be a complete panic to get lots of other new shows on, plus film more episodes of the ones that did okay, for months and months and months, until it settles down again for the rest of the season.

montage · 04/01/2013 22:33

I would prefer a system where they ran a show for 6 months, then another show for 6 months.

But in fairness, Grey's itself started life as a mid-season replacement Grin
