i sobbed throughout

Had tactical diversion with retrieving sausage rolls from the oven. Beautiful. Fantastic, well worth the 30 year wait. Loved it.... And hid tears too

I was looking forward to it, but was disappointed. A very poor version of the original really. Awful music too.

I wept.

I had a wee tear but also hated the flying music. Also the plane, he can fly, no need for the plane!

Yes I thought that about the plane. Also my 4 year old said "it's supposed to be 'walking in the air mummy'". He's not wrong. Disappointed with the music

This was basically the Snowman sequel book that I remember reading, with a dog added.

I was v. sobby at the beginning when they bury his old dog, but otherwise managed fine tbh. I liked all the snowmen from around the world in the book and in this.

But all in all I get more sobby generally everytime I see the John Lewis ad.

I started crying when they were burying the old dog and kept going until he got the new one.

I must admit, I did expect the now 40 year old original boyto appear and click with the mum - cue lots of happy family frolicking shots

It was lovely. I watched it twice! The lyrics to the song were poignant and I wasn't disappointed with the music at all. Beautiful.
