just seen the special on Beeb 2 (I think, dh found it). Reminded me just how fab she is - hysterically funny, warm, wonderful, moving... And now I'm humming Just Do It and giggling about Mrs Overall and remember that poignant yet giggle-inducing channel swimmer sketch... what a star!

I also can't listen to the name Kimberley without hearing Victoria Wood saying it.

I think Pat and Margaret is one of the best dramas she has written, but doesn't get enough of a mention. I watched a retrospective about her career recently and P&M got a one-liner. She captures the absurdity of the human condition perfectly.

Dp and I still re-enact 'ooh that's nice', whenever we're out shopping together! And we also do the wiping the fringe away mannerism!

The 2 soups sketch had me roaring with laughter. 'ooh, you must have been quite peckish!'

I love the Kitty sketches with Patricia Routledge. What would the Queen Mother do?
