Am I missing something? Is Cheryl encouraging Ste to get back with Brendan even though he punched him in the face last week and she knows that?

Yep. That really pissed me off, that they're being painted as 'true love'.

Brandan hit Ste last week as (he truly loves him) he wants him to leave with DOug, and he promised God, when Ste was in a coma, that if he pulled through, Brendan would give him up forever.

Given how bold Hollyoaks have been on DV storylines, incl male: male, it pains me that they're scuppering it all with this crappy plotline.

You know who Brendan should shag get together with? Dodger's new/real dad, the lovely Jeremy Sheffield. Not a gay character I don't think, but I'm ok with that.

Amy's kids were being looked after by leanne, the worse baby sitter ever, and she doesn't like kids so not quite sure what they were thinking there. Amy's dad seems to still be around for on hand babysitting but not for any screen time not quite sure where he is though as i stopped watching in for a little bit and he decided to leave at the point which is really quite selfish of him

I would catch up, cause everything on the lead up to christmas is about other characters and then on christmas day it leaps to the mcqueens mainly
