Favourite and least favourite EE character.

Just curious who everyones favourite and least favourite Eastenders characters are and why.

Oh and any interesting plots you'd love to see come up because we all know we'd come up with better plots than the current producers (who went from Cora not talking to Patrick to being friends again?).

Oh yes and to my favourites:

-Fatboy, because he's hilarious and he's quite adorable and just generally likeable. He hasn't done anything that would make me dislike him, unlike most of the characters.
-Lauren, because she doesn't act like everyone else expects her too and she's a bit more of an interesting teen character, plus her actress can act.
-Max, because I find him interesting. I also like Jack too but he bugs me at the same time.

I dislike Derek though, probably like most other people here. Oh and I am not Joey's biggest fan. Nice to look at, but that's about it. Although there are certain scenes where I do find myself feeling a little bit sorry for him.

Favorites are

Carol Jackson - her charter seems to be real, and most people could relate to her, also I think her acting when bulky died was very good.

Jean- she is also a believable character, very caring and genuine and good acting.

Dislike- Abbie - purely for the crap acting which seems to exists if pulling a sulky face

I like Jean too. The actress who plays her has really touched on bi-polar and how it can affect someone and their family.

I too like Jean. She's lovely.
I hate Abbie. She's so beige, I wish Jay would get together with Lola

Ah now you see I dislike Jean-have you seen her act in Doctor Who? She plays her part almost the same as Jean in EE-I think it is just her style of acting and it possibly just happens to fit, though I probably should't even be commenting as EE is REALLY awful at the moment!!!

I like Carol & Jean too. I used to adore Alfie but I'm getting fed up of both him & Kat. I actually quite like Abby... Her mad faces make me laugh! I both love & despise Bianca. One minute she's all determined to do whatever it takes to provide for her children but then someone expects her to actually do something & she flips!
I hate Derek. It's like Only Fools & Horses gone evil every time he's on the screen.
Also, I don't care what Derek & Max are hiding, or who Kat is sleeping with.

Ahhh... Phew, rant over. All better now!

Everything I've seen Gillian Wright in she's been a similar character. I don't remember seeing her in Doctor Who, which one was she in? I think it's getting beyond the bipolar now and getting a little silly, as with a lot of things writers struggle to keep certain issues running long term (which Bryan K said to me last year ).

I think all the characters have potential to either make me really like them or really hate them. Probably exceptions being Derek, Michael and maybe Jay.

Was she in Harry Potter? The Jean actress? Moaning Mildred in the toilets?

I love Fatboy. I like Shirley. Can't abide Kim.

I hate Kat. She is just vile IMO. Derek is equally repugnant.

Fatboy is fabulous - loveable and completely harmless. Jean and Carol are good and I like Tanya too.

Alfie has gone from loveable to wet.
Kim irritates me immensely.
Abbie and Lauren both appear to be spoilt brats.
Sharon is a caricature of herself.

Really really despising Kat Abd Derek. Urghhh

Don't like Lauren, Alfie ( used to be ok), Tyler, Whitney, Zainab

Warming to Michael, Cora, poppy, Masood, tamwar.

Really liking Lola since the lexi storyline, Denise is usually funny, fatboy, like bianca, dot, carol, Shirley.

Really going off Kim who has became a parody of herself. Jack is annoying and not fit, Sharon needs to lose the extensions, and can't warm to Lucy. She's too beautiful!

Oh forgot to add I love jean. Hate Tanya.

I love poppy and fats, lauren is good used to love alfie but he is getting too wet for my likeing now always hated max, tanya and abbie are too boring and sharon thinks it is 1984.

Poppy is nice
Whitney is wet
Lucy is... I don't know what but she does not seem like a nice person at all.

Least - Lauren, because she speaks lazily, like she cant open her mouth.

Most - Michael Moon , because I want to sex kiss him

Agree with tamwar thing too. He is brill. That's how I'd be if I was in EE.

I can't find any record of Jean (Gillian Wright) being in doctor who and I am intrigued now. Who was she?

Hate it at the moment - and can talk about who I'm interested in watching and who makes me switch off rather than clear likes and dislikes.

Interesting/Like - Tanya, Max, Lauren, Jay, Jack, Michael, Massood and Tamwar.

Like but wish they'd get a decent storyline - Fatboy (would like to see under the facade). Shirley - love her but bored with her miserable cow routine. Tamwar - I wish he'd gone to Oxford and come back as the shining light of the square - I think occasionally a happy successful storyline wouldn't go amiss.

Hate - well obviously Derek, Kat and Alfie (should never have come back). Assorted Moon and Derek offspring - muddle them up - thus they are all cardboard characters.

They should bring back Ricky and give Bianca a happy life with all her kids.

Like - All the Masoods except pathetic Syed, Kim & Denise, Dot, Cora, Patrick

Don't like - Sharon (and child - I know that's cruel!), Joey, Lucy

I can't stand Lauren. Or Lucy.
Also not a fan of Kat, Abbie, Derek, Jack, Alice, Whitney, thank God Syed has gone, sure there's loads more.
I really like Fatboy, Kim makes me laugh, Zainab, Tamwar is my all time fav and Mo.

Mo! Can't believe I forgot Mo! In general the older characters are the best. My favourite EE character of all time has to be Ethel.
