There.

OP posts:
digerd · 14/12/2012 19:09

I must put earplugs in if I want to be able to see DVO's rumba clearly and not with eyes full of tears and everything bleary !!

Pan · 14/12/2012 19:16

digerd we may have to turn the sound down, so we don't hear the song yelping as it is being slaughtered.Grin

digerd · 14/12/2012 19:27

Oh yes, it probably won't sound the same, but it is the words that affect me, and if the dance is soooo romantic too, I'll be off. Must immerse myself in the beauty of the dance, and James face will bring me down to earth, I hope.

Biscuitsandtinsel · 14/12/2012 19:30

Just watched ITT, well, fast forwarded through half of it, especially the bit with jls on - bring back the old panels of people who watched the show not just people performing on the 'Sunday' show don't get me started on the fake Sunday thing

Anyway, I wanted to know WHY Robin wears such ridiculous shoes. He had massive 1980s teenager trainers on again. Sir Ian of Waite always tells us the importance of dancing in proper shoes - wouldn't that apply to the pros too? I actually thought their dance (whatever it was - missed the intro) looked a bit 'meh' and out of time. I think Lisa should go this week - she's well off the pace of the others unless she pulls something AMAZING out of the bag this week?

I always loved robin in previous years but he seems odd this year and not always quite on the ball. Don't know what it is but he doesn't seem himself Sad

Pan · 14/12/2012 19:30

"And the moon and the stars,
Were the gifts you gave,
To the dark,
and the endless sky
my love"

not much better is there?

Horsemad · 14/12/2012 19:30

Ha ha at 'are Germany good'

digerd · 14/12/2012 19:37

Oh Pan you've started me off again. The most beautiful love song, isn't it Hope it's not slaughtered though.

Pan · 14/12/2012 19:42

I'd think it's the most beautiful, moving song ever written.

ScatterGotStuckUpTheChimney · 14/12/2012 22:52

I missed that, I'll be another one off I think! Especially if their rumba is as good as I think it could be.

I don't always like James's style, but sometimes he picks absolutely gorgeous music.

Pan · 15/12/2012 08:19

Just hearing that Brucie went home from rehearsals early yesterday, and is a doubt for this evening. Sounds possibly like the time for decisions to be made.

Pan · 15/12/2012 08:22

Horsemad - it would have worked much better if I could have remembered the question as it was actually asked. "Spain. Are they any good?" Grin

Horsemad · 15/12/2012 08:33

Lol, even beter Pan! I always go for Spain in the footy Smile

Horsemad · 15/12/2012 08:34

better even. Grrrr.

ppeatfruit · 15/12/2012 08:45

Of course I meant Lisa and Robin are dancing to a song from Chicago frankin Xmas Blush Xmas Grin I wonder if they chose it deliberately? Xmas Grin

Oh yes I LOVE the Ian and Karen history bits too (sorry I can't remember who mentioned them) they obviously enjoy them mightily themselves!!

Sparklingbrook · 15/12/2012 08:56

Bruce has a head cold DM Link.

ppeatfruit · 15/12/2012 09:09

Oh dear sparkling Xmas Grin!!

Sparklingbrook · 15/12/2012 09:39

I do hope he's okay, kust not okay enought to do the show. Is that bad ppeat?

OodKingWenceslas · 15/12/2012 11:22

I don't think so sparkling Grin

OodKingWenceslas · 15/12/2012 11:25

Watching ITT from last night. V interested in the other variations.

AndiMac · 15/12/2012 12:48

For those who skipped JLS, you missed out. They sounded like they actually watch the show, rather than guessing something to say from a 3-second video clip. And Aston Merrygold is both Louis Smith's mate and a dancing judge himself on Got to Dance, so had relevant things to say. I had to look up his name because I know nothing about JLS, but I did really enjoy their comments. Far more than what-his-face Mr Shuster from Glee the week before (and I love Glee).

digerd · 15/12/2012 13:02

Just checked the time of SCD tonight, and is from 6.30-8.15. Hope I don't get any visitors or phone calls, and dinner will have to wait !!

ppeatfruit · 15/12/2012 14:54

well Sparkling I'd wish him unwell enough just not to do any more of SCD!!!!Grin He effs it up too much and I get the impression the producers are too scared and or too young to say anything IYKWIM Xmas Grin

Agree about JLS Andimac it just shows how easy it is to be prejudiced Xmas Grin.

Bakingnovice · 15/12/2012 16:53

Don't want brucie dead or ought like that, but kinda glad he's too ill to do the show tonight!

Did anyone read DVO interview in the daily fail?? All woe is me, and 'I'm not a dancer', ' I've been hard done by' etc etc. she's not helping herself in the popularity stakes is she??

My prediction for tonight is that judges will over mark DVO to ensure she's not in bottom again. I think if she's anywhere but top two she will be in the dance off again.

AndiMac · 15/12/2012 17:02

That article didn't do her any favours, did it? What's ironic, if I just think about the facts of the whole thing, I'm actually quite sympathetic towards to her, just not the way she comes across in that article.

ppeatfruit · 15/12/2012 17:27

I'm not technically able to link to the article Xmas Grin could anyone VERY kindly do the honours i'd like to read that!
