I have finally seen yesterday's show, between tantrum bouts from the kids and two stops for Curious George.

First thing, did anyone notice Jonny Ball's vid clip at the start of the show is back showing Aliona dancing with him? I wonder if there was a big stink raised by her agent to get her highlighted again once she started dancing in the pro numbers again?

I thought DVO did really well considering the dress mishap. Core of steel indeed, to kick through that strong brocade fabric and get back in time!
Nicky - meh. Nice frozen smiles through the terrible criticism.
Lisa - meh. Looked very lost to me at points during their number. Either she was or they were just bad changes.
Dani really was built to do the Charleston, wasn't she? Great character during that.
Loved Louis showing a bit of expression through that rumba. Love his arms too.
I was a bit distracted by DS's tantrum during Kimberly's routine, so sort of missed the fantasticness of it. Will try and watch again to see what was so good.

I fast-forwarded most of Brucie, but he's unavoidable during the judges' comments. Was it me, or was he more mouthy tonight? Like he wanted to prove he still has it (hah!) and isn't ready to stop yet?

Why is lovely Lee Mead with DVO? She sounds awful, but I can't believe he would be with someone horrible. Unless he is horrible too.

On DVO's Twitter she said something along the lines of 'come on all you Mums vote for the only Mum in the competition'

That hole in DVO's bottom of skirt was big, and it was a knee length skirt. Who said, " you must have cocked your leg up too high" Was it Craig, can't remember, but have a feeling the word "Darling" was at the end ??

DVO's a pro IMO digerd which seems more than a bit unfair on the others. I didn't see Jason Donovan when he was on it did he win?

no, he didn't win, but I'd noticed a few parallels between Devo and Jason - all nice and friendly on the surface but uber competitive when off camera focus.

I know people who have worked with DVO and they say she is lovely. Really properly lovely.

Remember who won last year as was Harry mad, but don't remember who else was on it. Do remember Jason dancing, but not if it was last year, and he was good at the showmanship type dances.,but not what I call a talented dancer like HARRY - hmmmm

Jason danced last year. He placed third behind Chelsee who was 2nd and Harry who won. Aleisha must have won a few years before that, because in 2010 it was Cara somebody (aka Artem's now girlfriend) who won, with Matt Baker 2nd and Pamela Stephenson (think that's her last name) 3rd.

Jason danced lst year. He finished 3rd, after doing clearly the best show dance. By about a country mile. He was the best dancer on his day but inconsistent. her from Waterloo road was also better than Harry and much more consistent than Jason. Harry was not very good at all (Holly and her off the one show were both better than him too). He was average at best and danced completely without expression or passion (or indeed musicality which is a bit bonkers given that he is a musician but I guess percussionists are slightly different).

Don't mind a bit pan was a surprise though an interesting one !!At the naughty couples!!

BTW where did you get your info ?(if you're allowed to divulge!).

Sorry to be a grump but getting a bit fed up of ploughing through all the requests for gossip - surely someone could have just posted it in a vaguely coded way so not libelous and fun to decipher?

Also think people are getting too bitchy about DVO - I'm not rooting for her but there's no reason to suppose she's a cow or any such description, just that she shouldn't have been shoe-horned into SCD.

Oh Mordion I LOVED Harry's dancing last year a deserving winner IMO esp. as he had never danced before AND he was the male which is harder in ballroom IMO again of course. (it was him that got me into SCD and try and ignore the audience this year)

Yes I remember Harry last year as I rooted for him as was so shy and serious, but I can recognise potential, and he did blossom. And I do like cute and hunky .
