Do you prefer 24 or Homeland?

I'm watching Homeland. I love it but, I can't help comparing it to 24 and I don't know why. I guess it's the edge of the seat drama that leaves you wanting more, I seem to be getting flummoxed by it all now. I find myself thinking "it's not 24" at the end of each episode.

Which one had you gripped more?

I prefer 24. A lot more action in every episode in my opinion. I love Jack Bauer!

How did they know to go and investigate the CIA guy's flat (yet they didn't know whose flat it was at that point)?
And were they just following the newsreader hoping something would happen, or did they know she'd be meeting someone there?
