Dec went off on a quad after they had a row (she'd overhead him telling Jennie's husband that he was not sure he could love someone he didn't trust).
She raced after him on second quad. Caught up, had another set to, he was going to storm off again but ran out of petrol. Had a few more words. She set off back then fell down a hole!
Landed on a convenient ledge. Dec tried to get her out with his coat (!). She slips, lands on another conveniently located bit of hardboard. She cries etc and does some seriously rubbish acting, he says he loves her, goes off to get help. (He had left his phone at home - nonsensical as up to now his phone has been in every scene with him)
Anyway, help arrives in the form of Andy, Moira, a tractor and a bit of rope. You can work out the rest. Ground gives way under weight of tractor, landslide, Katie and quad now at bottom of very large hole. She wimpers.
The quad is petrol driven. It is ominously leaking.
Drip, drip, drip...but enough talk of Katie!
