I missed it but really wanted to see it as it had a bit on Selective Mutism on it.

Was it any good? I got my nephew to record it for me, but haven't got the tape from him yet (by the time I see him he will have probably taped over it!)

Just looked on C4 website and it is on next week too, looking at 2 kids with selctive mutism. I will have to get someone to tape that for me too!

That's useless. Saying that dd has been waiting to see the ed psych since october, and has now also been referred to the SALt...I wonder how long that will take

It was really good, I thought, but I was sobbing by the end. Happy sobbing, though.

I forgot to watch it last night and was particularly annoyed as ds1 showed all the signs of selective mutism from about age 3 - he gradually improved after starting school. It's repeated in the wee small hours of Thursday morning (3.20 am!) so I'm going to record it.

Moo, you're back! What happened to SL???? My friend's ds was the same, selectively mute at kindergarten but spoke normally at school from the word go. I'd love to know how the older boy gets on when he comes off Prozac.

I've decided once a moo always a moo Grin

Yes, ds1 is fine now - he'll always be shy I think, but within normal parameters. I'm looking forward to seeing the programme - there was very little information available on it when I was researching it a few years ago.
