I missed it today though, was it a good one?!

It's a load of tosh but I like it in a weird way
It's a identity fraud one today.

I cant believe how bad it is that woman was a real detective he was in Hollyoaks about 100 yrs ago, Didnt see todays but yesterdays was a girl and an asthma inhalor and a very pushy mother it was all very dramatic, did I saw how awful it is

Really? No I didnt see yesterday's. I did expect it all to be a bit better. A bit more like the bill

I wondered about this (watched once but gave up).
I know the bloke is an actor, but the woman seemed more like a real police officer - is she not an actor then? So confusing. Think it would be better if they hadn't used known actors. The one I watched was totally ridiculous.
Are they based on real stories?

It's all improvised. Before they go into a scene they get told what stroy they're meant to convey and what information they need to give/elicit but form then on it's all improvised.

The Detective is a retired detective who was in 'Girl Cops' a number of years ago when they did a reality tv show about Policewomen in Manchester.

It is crap but strangely compelling I think. The man detective was Mandy's brother in hilly oaks way back. I had a huge crush on him then and it's worth watching just for him

yes I did too I did prefer will mellor ( who i cant remember his character name) but lewis came a close second
