I think it' a great show

My favorite ever scene was when Sue and Carly challenge the scary neighbourhood family to a fight.

I think they may have set it up so Axl doesn't go away to college though after all, with the foot injury.

We call our 6yr old ds Axl cos as soon as he enters the house he strips to his boxers! We all love watching the middle, ds particularly likes Bricks new tic and keeps copying it!!

Ronny-Modern Family is absolutely brilliant...honestly its ace!!

I love the middle! I thought it'd be crap but I was so pleasantly suprised!

I love all the sky comedies apart from trolled. Me and the kids watch the middle, modern families, spy and we used to watch moone boy which was the best thing I have seen in ages.

I've only seen series 1 on DVD, we don't have sky :(

Brick is just THE most adorable kid.

Me and dh watch with ds but we all laugh at different bits. There is too much the parents do that's familiar

losing I agree Moone Boy was really good ,we don't watch Spy ( don't like Robert Lindsay) but we love Trollied , this series in particular has been really good , although my DCs are older and its probably a bit crude for younger children. I think Sky have some fantastic output , we also particularly enjoyed Stella .

I wish I was as optimistic as sue.

yes we love the middle it is funny and how tall is the dad I didnt notice in scrubs but the man is a giant

Maybe they didn't air one there because of the election or something?

is it thanksgiving in the US or football sometimes the programmes go a bit all over the place this time of the year , I prefer modern family i must admit i properly laugh out loud at it,

I absolutely love this show, I love Mod Fam as well but think that the Middle has got the edge.

I love Sue, amazed that the actress is 21. And Axel is my favourite. I love the bit where his mum and dad tell him to get a job to buy a car and he says 'OH MY GOD, you're my mom, it's your job to work yourself to death for your kids'.

It's really funny and I love it.

When dd gets all 'oh GOD' I call her Axel.

Frankie is a great actress, I used to really like her in Everybody Loves Raymond and her rows with her terrible mother in law.

I have never watched a whole series through, I just catch them when I can. They really make me roar though so am going to get the box sets.

It drives me up the wall I mean i go all Humphy about it, dd1 says oh the new season of X is on I go all twicthy about the eye

I like the episodes where Ray's mother turns up as Brick's 3rd grade teacher and calls Frankie "dear", much in the same passive-aggressive way she did in Raymond.

There are going to be lots of weeks where there is no new season 4 episode though, as they started showing it here so soon after it returned to American TV.

That seems to be how they do TV in America - they run series from September to May, which is way too many weeks when most series have about 24 episodes. So some weeks there is no new episode.

And they do mid-series breaks like we do for Christmas, but their typical hiatus is longer - hence the sudden cliffhangers you got in the middle of series like Desperate Housewives, for the "mid-season finale."

Wow the actress who lays Sue is 21!
I love The Middle, I really like watching a sitcom about a working class American family for once instead of them all living in perfect houses.
Mind you it took me ages to work out that it wasn't a spin off of Malcom in the Middle due to the mums looking similar and Brick ad Dewie being so similar. Even my sister thought it too, had to demonstrate all my googling knowledge.

I mean PLAYS Sue, good god Sue would never get layed she would be horrified at such a suggestion.

I prefer the Middle to Modern Family because I feel I identify with the Hecks much better.
