I'm thinking it's just you as well Grin

joash · 03/04/2006 22:36

definately just you Grin

Caligula · 03/04/2006 22:36

Yes but that's because he's a druid and drinks the blood of conservative party blue rinse members.

LillyPink · 03/04/2006 22:48

lol - is it really just me? He so does not look 74!!!! btw thats not to say I fancy him!!!!

moondog · 03/04/2006 22:49

I don't watch Corrie (although i may settle down to watch Mike bow out this week) but you're right. He's ancient yet always looks the same!!

LillyPink · 03/04/2006 22:50

I reckon he uses oil of ulay.

Ken is deffo wearing well - which more than can be said of Deirdre who is 20 years his junior - that neck is the butt of endless jokes our house Grin good job it's in private or we might be slapped with a law suit Wink

LillyPink · 03/04/2006 23:08

Deirdre is very scary. The neck, the hair, the voice, the belts.......(and she shagged Dev. Vomit)

OP posts:
moondog · 03/04/2006 23:09

Are the story lines ridiculous these days?
I stopped watcxhing when Deirdre married the Algerian.

JoolsToo · 03/04/2006 23:09

pmsl!!
amongst others! Grin

Caligula · 03/04/2006 23:10

Deirdre is absolutely gruesome. She dresses in a very outdated and yet far too young for her way. It's too awful and I'm never sure whether it's because the actress is insisting on ghastly dress or costumes insist on it as part of her character.

Whatever, she's in need of a good dose of Trinny and Susannah

JoolsToo · 03/04/2006 23:10

oh moondog - Corrie is fab - very funny!

some great one liners usually from the older members of the cast - Blanche is supreme!

moondog · 03/04/2006 23:10

Has her table stilll got that funny green cloth on it that never moves/?
(Or was that Ken's house...Are K&D together again?

JoolsToo · 03/04/2006 23:12

very much so - sometimes they wink at each other and head for the stairs Shock

the green table cloth I'm sure was Uncle Albert's era Grin

What about when Deirdre laughs - she must be on 50 full strength a day!

LillyPink · 03/04/2006 23:13

Ken and Deirdre have split up and reunited more than I've had hot dinners. and the produced the monster that is Tracey.

Some of the story lines have been a bit naff actually Moondaog, lately.

OP posts:
moondog · 03/04/2006 23:14

Oh yes, that fag Ash Lil voice and the teeth that you know are black in the crevices.
Actually, isn't it great that tv still has some normal looking people in it,not just airbrushed blonde airheads???

LillyPink · 03/04/2006 23:15

Moondog even. I'm sure I once heard that the woman who plays D had throat cancer or something similar once. Yet she puffs away on screen!

OP posts:
JoolsToo · 03/04/2006 23:16

Lilly - Tracey isn't Ken's! call yourself a fan Grin

yes moondog - realistic at least! (and with humour - I can't imagine a US version)

LillyPink · 03/04/2006 23:16

agree with that Moondog. Corrie is quite good for that. You only have to glance at the 'factory girls.'

OP posts:
moondog · 03/04/2006 23:17

oH I DIDN'T KNOW THAT d THE CHARACTER SMOKED!
tRACEY WAS LEN'S WASN'T SHE??
vAGUE MEMORIES OF HIM GOING OUT ON THE RAZZLE,LEAVING DEIRDRE ALONE BY THE FIRE WITH THE BABY.

LillyPink · 03/04/2006 23:17

She isn't? I knew that a man of Kens calibre couldn't have 'sired' such a girl Wink

So whos the dad?

OP posts:
Caligula · 03/04/2006 23:18

No no no she was Ray Langton's.

And he came back. To die.

TinyGang · 03/04/2006 23:18

I love the way they reinforce the idea that Ken is very brainy by having him wander around with a large tome under his arm looking for a quiet place to 'catch up on some reading'.

LillyPink · 03/04/2006 23:18

Of course Caligula. QUite recently.
