I'm watching. I'm a 99p Store convert though.

I'm glued. But then we have four pound shops in my town. One even just stocks bog roll.

No that woman saying up a side street somewhere LOL

I'm slightly compelled to go shopping and waste a tenner for ten things.

It's quite boring. I'm a total pound land convert

i'm nipping in and out of it. just saw the comments from rich people not being happy about the poundshops being in their towns.

We had a Poundland open recently. It is full of tatt! Even the staff are rubbish, obviously don't spend much on training.

Caroline Aherne does sound really bored, and slightly disinterested.

So what have we learnt?

Um it comes from china and is not quite full sized, not anything we didn't know...

Not much! I know that cleaning cloths are the same the world over. Buying in the 99p store allows me to buy my main shop for food at Waitrose or the likes.

What on Earth was the point of that? I want some of my licence fee refunded!

I have never seen a 99p shop. In fact I have only seen a Poundland (yummy for sweets for the office now there's no Woolies).

I can't get the pushchair in our 99p shop if they run out of space on the shelves they just pile things on the floor so there's no space to move

Pound wars? We have 99p wars round here!
(99p Stores vs SAM 99p - the 98p Shop and 97p Store went out of business. Or renamed. Hard to tell.)

Interesting going round and seeing what is same/more than in mainstream stores, and what is a real bargain that day.
