Did the Nicola Stephenson character take hubby back?

No she didn't marley.
She took the girls and went to stay with her Mum but she and her DH parted on civil terms and she told him she would always love him.
Major and his fiance did marry though not until after she first called it all off but then relented. Her son gave her away.
Widowed lady had her 2nd baby - a girl - and her brother-in-law was with her when she delivered. They were becoming very cosy together.
Her mother-in-law was delighted with new baby and they decided to call baby Matilda (I think!) but she would be known as "Matty" - obvious reference to her deceased Dad who was Mat. (sob, sob).
Mother and Father-in-law did the catering for the wedding - implication being that they would work together at keeping the business going and not sell up and move out.
I enjoyed the series and hope they make a second one as all the story lines were left so that they could be continued and still remain interesting.

A lot was said about special scollops, I was expecting bitter catering haridan to have served up dodgy seafood as revenge
