Stupid question re Strictly and Dancing with the Stars...

So, as far as I can tell these shows are running at the same time (going by all the DwtS posts on Live Journal that is) They're both live, and they both have Len and Bruno as judges.

How does that work? Are they not permanently jet-lagged? I am confused. I want to read a nice article about them racking up the air miles but nothing I can google mentions this ridiculous commuting they're doing (wiki mentions they judge both but that's it)

I am overwhelmed with nosiness and curiosity. I need links. Pretty please.

I'm sure I saw it mentioned that they fly back and forth on Strictly a few series ago.

I can only assume they're being paid huge sums of money, but then maybe transatlantic commuting isn't the big deal my head tells me it should be.

DWtS starts several weeks before SCD, so there are usually only 6 weeks or so of overlap.

I'm sure flying first class and staying in swanky hotels helps
