No!! I don't like him and he's a pants actor.

Lord fatbum is an Earl and obviously not very bright he would think M.C. people like accountants and doctors beneath him so why would he follow their advice? He does have some redeeming sweetness though. The 'giving orders thing' is IMO 'cos he must feel very threatened and insecure by changing times and can't believe others are not feeling the same.

I had never thought of Thomas/the actor who plays him in THAT way before, but that episode when Lady Syb dies and he's in his dressing gown with no Brylcreem in and his hair all awry .... ooooooh, young man!

Rob James Collier I knew I'd seen him in Corrie. his acting has improved more than a bit and he's sex on legs IMHO.

Ick. He looks like Paul Merton. They could have gone for someone a bit better looking, plenty of good looking Irish actors.

Lord Fatty's agent would have been a solicitor/accountant type. Estate manager is a land economist. If Fatty has one then either he needs sacking or Fatty has been ignoring him.

Maybe things fell by the wayside during the War when it was harder to get young men, and hasn't been revived properly if said young men didn't come back. It's only meant to be 1920 or something.

I think he'll get up to some hijinx with Edith and what with all her newly found social awareness it would be simply impolite not to welcome him into her chamber.

I'm hoping that we don't get any more slurpy bed scenes between Anna and Bates...I know it's Halloween this week but she doesn't deserve that!

If I see a scene where Anna is slurping on any part of Bates' anatomy I will not be overjoyed.

I think Edith and the newspaper editor will get it on.
