Who filled up the last thread? Hmm?

All I wanted to say was Jonathan Rhys Meyers?

No!! I don't like him and he's a pants actor.

Big girls blouse!?

tribpot · 04/11/2012 21:46

"Big girls blouse" might be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Lord 6 is about to come in and shout 'WAZZUP' and Cora declare the cricket match 'the shizzle'.

wintera · 04/11/2012 21:47

Is Jimmy actually gay and in denial maybe? If Thomas tops himself I'm going to be most displeased!

Mollydoggerson · 04/11/2012 21:48

Edith is wearing a fake tie!

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 04/11/2012 21:48

Lol trib.

I think Thomas is on the edge. Dunno what the woods thing was about.

wintera · 04/11/2012 21:48

Also Matthew said 'you had stuff to sort out' aswell. Didn't sound quite right either!

Mollydoggerson · 04/11/2012 21:49

Bates is way better looking painting.

UltraBOF · 04/11/2012 21:50

I've just looked up the origin of Big Girl's Blouse, and it seems to date from the 1960s. ROFL at "the shizzle" Grin

HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 04/11/2012 21:50

I thought Mary would be doing up a surprise nursery before 3pm.

But now I think the Tyrk probably gave her an STD.

Tyrk? Turk.

dapplegrey · 04/11/2012 21:51

Yes Big Girls Blouse and also the taxi driver saying 'on Greek St'. Saying on a street is a relatively recent American import. Until a few years ago it was 'in' a street, eg 'I went shopping in the Fulham Rd' or 'her office was in Park Lane'.

wintera · 04/11/2012 21:51

I don't think the woods bit was anything ominous surely? I think Thomas was just dwelling on the fact that Bates now has the kind of life that Thomas should have, if only he was straight.

squoosh · 04/11/2012 21:52

Well I believe some characters are leaving but I would like hot Thomas to stay and if he does leave it had better not be suicide!

squoosh · 04/11/2012 21:54

Every week I yearn to dab some blusher on Mary's peaky cheeks.

Moln · 04/11/2012 21:54

Jjust looked up big girls blouse too there's some specualtion it entered in to language in Northen England in the 1840s along with shirty, though as girl's shirt.

If the turk gave her an std wouldn't it have been picked up by now? That was years ago now, way before the war. Plus they never had full sex either did they?

Wow, the Lord actually just made a very funny joke.

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 04/11/2012 21:58

The soap, the soap!

ErikNorseman · 04/11/2012 21:59

What operation could Mary have had?

wintera · 04/11/2012 22:00

Why do they keep saying 'stuff'?

reindeerjumper · 04/11/2012 22:02

Her tubes?

wintera · 04/11/2012 22:03

Its got to be the soap incident! Its got to be!!

tribpot · 04/11/2012 22:03

Loving the suitably ominous music.

Dread to think what op Mary might have had, 1920s medicine has not done a great job in this series Confused
