Who filled up the last thread? Hmm?

All I wanted to say was Jonathan Rhys Meyers?

No!! I don't like him and he's a pants actor.

Daisy & Pickles?

He´d expect her to hand him the farm whilst she stayed at home with baby Sybil, wouldn´t he?

ppeatfruit · 03/11/2012 13:41

I LIKE Daisy she's got spirit; but Mrs. Patmore says she's in love with the wrong man (she's done that twice; she fancied Thomas the 'ladies man' Grin) much better to go for gorgeous James and they can run the farm together. When old FIL KTB.

BTW squoosh I think you'll find that the Daisy & FIL idea was mine originally Grin

Fiderer · 03/11/2012 13:44

Is Daisy's PaInLaw's farm on the Downton Estate? I always assumed it was v far away, not that I've any idea how large the estate is. Some comment from Willyum about visiting his mum on his next half-day as it was so far.

PaInLaw mentioned to Daisy she was well thought of at the "big house", did he mean Downton?

There's a trailer showing Lord 6 being all chummy with Branson at a cricket match. Maybe they bond over the smell of linseed oil and the sound of leather on willow.

ppeatfruit · 03/11/2012 13:55

It could be far away AND on the estate Grin Fiderer it's effing big IMO. I'm sure her FIL meant Downton.

squoosh · 03/11/2012 14:01

Oh dear, you should have copyrighted.

Fiderer · 03/11/2012 14:11

Yes, must be on the Downton estate, ppeat, no other "big house" would have an opinion of Daisy. A widow as tenant, and a former kitchen maid- turned-assistant cook to boot, what'd that do to the, erm, hierarchy of the lower orders?

ppeatfruit · 03/11/2012 14:29

Yes but things were getting a little more flexible around the 20s weren't they?

Fiderer · 03/11/2012 14:51

Hope so. I love Carson's outraged eyebrows Grin

Better than Lord Fatty BumBum's horror, he's been particularly nasty the last few episodes.

ppeatfruit · 03/11/2012 15:32

Yes poor old Lord FB can't cope with the change at all can he? Grin

IAmSheWhoMustBeObeyed · 03/11/2012 23:53

Ooooh aaaaaaah it's count down to Downton time!

Grin Grin Grin

GeorginaWorsley · 04/11/2012 20:16

Edith's child would not inherit even if a boy.
After Lord Grantham has to be nearest male relative,ie Matthew.
Reckon Mary will have a boy but perhaps Matthew off scene next series..... as Dan Steven's in America.

tribpot · 04/11/2012 20:58

I've just endured 5 mins of the X-Factor. Bloody hell, it takes something to make the ITV ads seem like a relief.

JugglingWithPossibilities · 04/11/2012 21:05

Just waiting for DH and DS to finish their game of Othello, then I get the telly and sofa - past DS's bedtime already really ! Is it the last episode then ? Ooh, looking forward to that then Smile

ScorpionQueen · 04/11/2012 21:05

I'm watching it a bit later so will use all of my willpower to keep away from this thread for an hour or so.
Enjoy, hope it's fab.
:)

Ooh - Thomas and Pickle could go on the run together, like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 04/11/2012 21:15

I would be vair happy if the extra minutes were spent showing a slow-mo of O'Brien breaking her neck falling down the stairs. Evil.

snice · 04/11/2012 21:16

pregnant or ill-there is no such thing as just 'being tired' in an ITV drama
