Aliona's routines were always poor in her first series weren't they? Can't remember who she danced with but we always said they were 'mememe' to showcase her. Which is maybe the way proper professional routines are done, to show of the lady? But on Strictly you would need yo show off your partner be they male or female? Is that the case? .

I don't have any dance experience, just Strictly watching experience. And to me it seems the pro will highlight their own dancing if their partner can't do much with any type of flair. Think Anton doing practically a solo routine when partner with Anne Widdicombe.
