I have been dreading the end of the Ponds since they arrived on the scene. I think its worse because this is my first Dr, I only saw a couple of episodes of David Tennant, and although I do love him I cannot stand fucking Billy 'because we want to' Piper or Catherine Tate...

I sobbed too! Think the series has been split in half. Another 5 after Christmas (i could be lying and just convinced myself of that)

I think I will convince myself of that too, I don't think I can process this emotional trauma when I am sleep deprived!

These last few episodes have really annoyed me - it's like none of them could be bothered to write a decent script, produce it decently, or act any of it at all. But the last episode was everything I'd hoped it would be, just wish the whole 'series' could have been like it.

Am very excited for the new girl - is it the Oswin girl from the first ep of this series? Or have I made that up?

At least, it's the same actress - whether it's the same character or (if not) what the connection between them is, we don't yet know.
