River City - i have a question

i must have missed it way way long ago but i dont understand the relationship with Luca, Gina, Joanne and Ruth

ARE jo and luca blood relatives? are they legally allowed to have a relationship? ie could they marry etc? or are they stepbrother/sister?

do they have the same dad i think is the question

Don't know, but I was wondering too, so I thought I'd bump this for you. Don't watch it every week, but caught it last week and realised I must have missed a few crucial episodes way back.

Gina is mum to Ruth and Joanne but they have different dads.

Luca is "supposed" to be Gina's late husband's (Franco)son from another relationship, so he is Joannes half brother but not Ruth's.

I think Luca is supposed to be Gina's husbands son but not hers although I read in the paper that Luca isn't really Franco's (Gina's dead hubby) son so he and Joanne (who I don't like) could have a relationship. Does that make sense?

I started watching River City since moving back to Scotland the acting is dire, the plotlines worse but it's strangley addictive!

Archie found out that Luca is NOT Franco's son, therefore he is no blood relation to Joanne. He is not Gina's son, she just brought him in because she thought he was Franco's..

I have to say, River city is the best soap on tv. I never miss it! I think I love it as I live in Germany, and it just reminds me of Glasgow... Any more questions? I am something of an expert...

Franco's children = Joanna and Luca

but as sk and www apparantly Luca is not Franco's son.

don't know about the Luca/Marty theory - Marty is def up to no good with those holiday houses he was selling, but do you think he and Luca knew each other in Italy? Do you think Luca knows he's not Franco's son and is scamming Gina? Hmmm...the plot thickens.
