Best thing on TV at the moment

Following on from recent thread about TV being pants atm, which it generally is imo, what is your favourite thing on tv?
Mine is the Apprentice. Didn't watch the last series, but am loving this one!

I've got the first series of Desperate Housewives on dvd and loved it, I'm going to save up and the other series so I can watch at my leisure.

I watched deal or no deal on saturday night and wasn't too impressed, I won't be watching it again.

Never watched the apprentice, has it finished yet? I might give it a go.

Actually the best drama on TV is BattleStar Galactia.
Yes, really.
It's not like the 19780s show at all.
Much darker, not sure there are any "good" guys at all. The evil killing robots have souls, or maybe they think they have. Maybe they are evil, or maybe they see themselves as the early Christian martyrs being tormented by the pantheistic Romans.

Serious drama that happens to be on a spaceship.
Complex characters, non-preductable outcomes and a set of theological allusions that must be lost on at least half the audience.

The latest episode dealt with the ethics of raping a toaster.
Yes, really. It takes enormous skill to get to the point where it's actually quite hard to form a firm view given the situation they have set up.

hardly anything worth watching but i do watch the apprentice, armstrongs thoguh didn't bother last week and ramsay's kitchen murders..otherwise just football, and poirot

My favourite show is Stargate SG-1 and it proves how good it is,its now in the 10th season,longest running sci fi show besides x files.
Going to Vancouver on Thursday to see some of the cast (again) and see the sets:)

I also like Smallville,Six Feet Under,Queer As Folk,and OC.
