i feared it was going to be an exploitative X -Factor audition type thing, but I think its quite positive.

Not sure whether to show it to DS though in case it gives him ideas for new tics Confused

Which channel, please?

SharpObject · 17/09/2012 21:58

BBCThree but just finishing, repeated at 12.30am though.

I'm taping it because I'm watching leaving and taping 999 - tv obsession.

Thank you :)

I watched an item on the This Morni.g programme about this. There was a young guy whom has Tourettes and he was taught to play the drums to control it. Was fascinating. I shall watch.

How did you find the programme?

Hope you all enjoyed the programme.
In reply to the op - I would let your son with TS watch the programme as although it does give us more tics for a short period of time being with other ticcers, the value of seeing other people dealing with tics also is of a great help to self confidence.

Thanks TM2Y -

At the moment he doesn't have any real verbal of obscenity tics. I was worried that hearing those, and seeing ones like the girl giving the middle finger would give him the idea to try them out and then they would become compulsive. I don't know if that is how it works at all.
