I Stopped watching emmerdale for a few years, but started back watching a year or so back, so much better than ee or corrie.

But why is Katy always the victim of some deranged man, she really seems to only have one story line that is repeated.

What happened to gabby's mum? And if any one fancies filling in a few blanks from the years I missed that would be good!

What happened to the jack son/ Andy brother?
Also why does Andy not own the farm?
I'd Diane nicolas mum?
How did Declan come to own home farm?

Gabby's mum, Bernice ( Diane's daughter ) didn't want her. Very occasionally she will have her to stay .
Andy lost the farm and had a breakdown, hit his wife and lost Sarah to Debbie

The Kings lost Home Farm when they lost their money. I think it was then bought by the Wildes, a bigamist and a murder later it was sold to Declan. But Declan is nearly skint which nobody but his sister knows.

I think Andy's adopted brother died in a car crash - or he caused a car crash that killed the youngest King brother. Of course that was after he had the affair with Katie.

I'm not sure we have ever met Nicola's mum, certainly I only know that Rodney is her dad and Bernice was her half sister. Nicola's character has gone through some extreme changes over the years. Bernice -Gaby's mum, had an affair with Carlos the chef when Bernice was still married to Ashley. Carlos the chef was at that time engaged to Nicola. Nicola went out of it for a while. Came back, had a long running relationship with David (Eric Pollard's son) and was rather nasty. Nicola and current hubby have been through every relationship story you can think of including amnesia!

why is cain such a woman magnet? he looks like he never washes and has a pocky face and is an arsehole.
