Good grief! Really no-one? The Vortex, plastic credits and a shaking aspidistra plant

I remember it well,
Celebrities (well minor ones like Maggie Philbin) were made to do challenges. They had to collect tokens. The Aspidistra was one of the monsters
Moira Stewart the news reader was one of the cast!
I think it was on at teatime possibly on BBC2

ixel · 16/03/2006 19:19

I ADORED it. Not entirely sure why, thinking back. ~I actually found it a bit scary too...

harpsichordcarrier · 16/03/2006 19:21

I have a very vivid recollection of Sandra Dickinson saying Basingstoke Basingstoke Basingstoke over and over again as a password
in that little girly voice
v surreal

I always loved the end bit on the grid, where if they were wrong they disappeared off into space. And the aspidistra. The aspidistra was my favourite!

I loved this too

for some reason I used to find it really exciting

cupcakes · 16/03/2006 20:07

I used to have nightmares about falling through that grid.

PiccadillyCircus · 20/03/2006 20:29

I loved the Adventure Game Smile.

Dizzymama · 20/03/2006 20:32

I used to like the game where they had to fill a huge tube with water and get some bizarre floating shapes out of the top!
I had a friend who used to cry at the end as he really thought the people who lost had to walk all the way home!!! He he he Grin

acnebride · 20/03/2006 20:37

I loved it too but i hated the way that if the players looked as if they might win, they changed all the rules...

loved the krypton factor too
