.. stay on our screens and replace some of the tired old faces we have on TV and radio!

I'ld love to see the last leg guys stay on as a general events of the day chat show, and the woman that presents from the swimming is fantastic, can't we finally get rid of Fern Cotton and co and have her instead?

I'm with you! Why SHOULDN'T we have presenters with disabilities? They're just as knowledgable, engaging & interesting as the usual suspects.

LackingNameChangeInspiration · 06/09/2012 22:51

"They're just as knowledgable, engaging & interesting as the usual suspects" no they're not! they're much much better at the job than the usual suspects Grin

there really is no excuse now for the tired old usuals, we know C4 can do better now!

Yes funny enough was saying on facebook how glad we all were that Ch4 were using presenters with disabilities and they should carry on using them after the paralympics have finished. I hope other channels learn from this as well!

iklboo · 06/09/2012 22:53

Sorry, you're quite right! Grin

Kewcumber · 06/09/2012 22:54

I have more than a bit of a crush on the three presenters on Last Leg Blush

pinkteddy · 06/09/2012 22:58

Kewcumber - I love Adam Hills - been watching the last leg avidly!

LackingNameChangeInspiration · 06/09/2012 23:00

I don't want last leg to go Sad... and a lot of the paralympic presenters are way more easy on the eye than a lot of other presenters that are all over the place. There really is no need for the likes of Brian Dowling and Vernon Kaye etc now when we could be looking at much nicer things! (who are also more likable and witty, I'm not JUST impressed by their looks Grin)

I'm addicted - I feel the same about it as I felt about the Olympic flame when they put it out... NOOOOOOOOO.......... Don't gooooooooooooo!

LackingNameChangeInspiration · 06/09/2012 23:03

but the flame had to go Sad Sad Sad
the presenters don't! (but fern C really does need to go away now IMO)
now shush last leg is on Grin mmmm

Adam HIlls is married

AnyFucker · 07/09/2012 00:05

does Adam Hills have a disability ?

have loved all the presenters too

mixed in nicely with Dame Clare and Sir Jonathon, it's been fab

best of all though, none of that fucking Walkers Twat

Kewcumber · 07/09/2012 00:07

Prosthetic leg (no foot at birth just some toes which were subsequently amputated)

AnyFucker · 07/09/2012 07:46

ah, ok

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 08/09/2012 23:08

It's been brilliant, I was worried that Channel 4 wouldn't have the in depth sports knowledgeable presenters like the BBC, but they have been great and I have loved The Last Leg, they really must keep that team on screen,

Stilla · 08/09/2012 23:47

The last leg has been fabulous !

Kewcumber · 09/09/2012 00:07

What am I going to watch every night now?

funnypeculiar · 09/09/2012 00:18

Last leg has officially been the best thing on the olympic/paralympic coverage - those three work brilliantly together.
If C4 doesn't reuse that team they are arses.

Imho.

FannyFifer · 09/09/2012 00:25

The channel 4 coverage, shows, little documentary snippets etc has been absolutely fantastic.

My 7 year old son has been glued to it, the way they have explained about different disabilities has been fantastic to watch.

Well done channel4 they have done an amazing job.

LackingNameChangeInspiration · 09/09/2012 13:29

"does Adam Hills have a disability?" he has a prosthetic leg
he's technically the best looking of the three, but for some reason I can't explain it's the horse rider that makes me a bit weak when he laughs/smiles.. I don't understand it cause he's not classically handsome but there's something about him......
God I'll miss that show!

OP posts:
LackingNameChangeInspiration · 09/09/2012 13:31

but agree that the chemistry of the three together is a bit magic, really hope telly people take note!

Agree - it's been a fab, and addictive programme. Adams Hills and Alex (?) have particularly worked so well together.

iklboo · 09/09/2012 14:56

It's Alex Brooker. Him & Adam have a proper bromance going on.

mouldyironingboard · 09/09/2012 15:05

Adam Hills started out in stand-up comedy. I've watched some very funny clips of him on youtube. He's so natural at TV presenting I hope that he'll remain on our screens. I'd rather watch him than Jonathan Ross as he doesn't make the interviews all about himself but actually listens to his guests.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 09/09/2012 16:13

I'd watch him instead of Jonathan Ross any time.

Kewcumber · 09/09/2012 18:24

I saw Adam Hills at the Edinborough festival before he was famous
