Is it just me or am I barking up the wrong tree here? Sharon was adopted by Den & Angie. We know Cora had a baby when she was young making her daughter 40 something. Sharon fits the bill, does she not? Her and Tanya don't get on. Is it just me or does this have Crimbo storyline written all over it?

No, Sharon traced her birth mother years back. I don't remember her name but someone here will.

It was concluded that no further contact as her birth mother didn't want to re-establish involvement.

So that's the end of that prospective story line before it even starts.

I have heard alot of chatter about this tanya/sharon = long lost sisters thing ..
I hope its just rumour, if EE are planning to make this a storyline they'll mess up a previous one....
Sharons birth mother has already been confirmed as carol hanley, sharon tracked her down in the late eighties/early ninties. Their relationship never progressed beyond a few meetings as carol confessed she had no maternal feelings for sharon

Riiight I did not know that. So hugely unlikely unless of course the writers make a mistake. It just seems to me that it all fits in quite neatly but perhaps not!

Unless cora remarried and changed name? Characters do come back with different actors don't they. How long is sharon back for? It does all fit ...

Cora is the same letters as in carol but minus the L.

Carol changed her name to Cora, and Sharon has had her memory wiped since her meetings with her mother about 15 years ago, which is why she hasn't recognised her since moving back to the square ...

But sharon & her birth mother did meet a few times so surely they would recognise eachother if that was the case?
I hope this story line is just a rumour tho, some of the stories in EE are so unrealistic. Tanya showed up in walford with max and the kids, then cora showed up later on. For them to turn up in the place where tanyas long lost sister was brought up is too much of a coincidence to be realistic.

i saw on the front of the mags today that next week Tanyas sister comes into the mix and she is mixed race.

Cora had her baby, which was mixed up in the maternity ward with another baby. Cora then gave up the baby for adoption but it was the wrong baby.

The other 40-year-old-mix-up-baby will precipitate the hospital's investigation after needing an organ transplant from her mum who turns out not to be a proper DNA match. Cora will be traced and the rest, as they say, is hysteria.

OH i thought she was being a bit funny with patrick because he reminded her of a lost love I said it ages ago on another thread that is more than likely than a swapped baby

If i remember rightly (its dead sad that i remember such a random fact) the actress who played sharons mum played Bet in the famous oscar winning film "Oliver" . Could be wrong of course

OK got enders on my facebook they had an article that an actress is coming in soon as tanyas mixed race sister so not sharon then .
