Richard and Judy are talking about the allegations about big brother contestants. I know I live in a bubble (and never buy a paper Shock) but what are they talking about?

I was wondering that too They were talking about some people not coping with post big brother fame and kept referring to allegations made over the weekend I didn't have a clue what they were on about either

Kathy1972 · 14/03/2006 17:43

Go on someone, I've been waiting all afternoon to find out!

JoolsToo · 14/03/2006 17:43

wasn't it yesterday they were on about this?

but I had the sound off as I was exercising to Billy Joel so missed any goss Grin

lucy5 · 14/03/2006 17:48

The contestant Lesley, the big girl in the nurses uniform from last summer alleged that she was raped and the CPS have just dropped the case and she attempted suicide. I didn't see Richard and Judy but read this online yesterday.

I also read that Kemal and Kinga were a couple and that this year there is going to be a contestant with Tourettes syndrome. All gossip but dont know if this is what Richard and Judy were on about.

There was another yesterday saying that BB bosses had taken it too far this year by having a contestant with Tourettes Syndrome.

They said they thought it would add an interesting angle on the programme????

GDG · 14/03/2006 17:54

BB is becoming sick - it doesn't resemble the first one at all anymore.

JoolsToo · 14/03/2006 17:57

it's a freak show but stangely addictive

Tourettes though, that is low

RTKangaMummy · 14/03/2006 17:57

Did you hear about the married couple in the one in Belgium or Holland???????

And the power cut!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GrinGrinGrin

Blu · 14/03/2006 17:58

How very hilarious, the whole nation laughing at someone with a disability, and watching it cause hilarious havoc in the house.

RTKangaMummy · 14/03/2006 17:59

I agree Tourettes is really NOT a good idea

But they are still autioning aren't they so the group haven't been picked so is that not more tabloid hype -- hope not true

RTKangaMummy · 14/03/2006 18:00

Blu my Grin were about the power cut not the tourettes Blush

JoolsToo · 14/03/2006 18:01

yes but Blu someone with Tourette's is of sound mind and can make their own decision whether they want to appear or not, No-one forces anyone into the house.

However I think its quite irresponsible to even offer the chance to someone with that condition.

Blu · 14/03/2006 18:02

Kanga is innocent Grin

Blu · 14/03/2006 18:05

the producers know EXACTLY what they are doing - I bet they are encouraging individulas to apply...they certainly choose the most sensational 'contestants', and (bemusingly) the public still seem to bellieve that they will come out of these things looking good.

I do agree that a person with tourettes may well come out on top, and that they can make their own decision, but somehow my opinion of TV producers arouses a cynical little leprachaun whispering doubts about the integrity of the whole thing in my ear.....

JoolsToo · 14/03/2006 18:06

I agree

Kathy1972 · 14/03/2006 18:06

Joolstoo, I think deliberately deciding people with Tourettes couldn't go on it would be discriminatory.
However, I'm sure their motives in choosing this person (if they really have) are about as low as they could possibly be.

overdraft · 14/03/2006 18:07

what is it i have never heard of it?

JoolsToo · 14/03/2006 19:05

yes Kathy - I thought of the counter argument too.

It's a no win situation really!
