Yes, Phil should be in prison too. Dont get me wrong, I like Jay and he was affected, but he still covered it up.

How old is Jay? If he is under 18 and it all comes out that Phil knew, will he be classed as a minor and therefore not as culpabable (is that even a word?) because he was effectively brainwashed/controlled by the Mitchells? I thought he was going to court anyway for being an accomplice.

It's a shame because if this was a RL situation, a child like Jay going to prison for essentially being too scared of the repercussions to own up would only result in him being exposed to more criminals. He is the sort of boy that would end up doing things in prison to survive because he isn't weak, he isn't scared and he knows how to handle himself. He would shove that spark of good aside in order to make it through and end up turning baaaad, coming out of prison an actual criminal and such low self worth that he would probably stay with crime because he doesn't think he deserves anything better.

The difference between him and Ben is that Ben is bad inside. Jay was a victim of circumstance. Ben engineered everything as much as he possibly could.
