Just read that Katya Virshilas isn't returning to the show, a new dancer Karen Hauer is taking her place.

Who will be in this year's line up?

Louis is my favourite but that's entirely superficial.

Flavia.....was Vincent's live-in partner. Then she danced with Matt De Angelo and left Vincent so they could be a couple. They split. Then she danced with Jimi Mistry...then they became a couple!

Her dancing tonight was embarrassing. She is a great ballroom dancer, but these days SCD is about so much more than that.

Out of interest, why shouldn't Louis take this seriously? I imagine that he and Victoria Penndeleton are staving off a big post-Olympic comedown and this is one way of getting a surge of adrenalin again, and some audience support (which, let's face it, must be addictive). They are trained to perform for adulation and acknowledgment, so this must be a spangly extension of that for them. I reckon they will have the January blues though ...

It would have been SOOOOOO refreshing if she could have not mentioned the fact she's overweight and just got on with it.

Colin - his feet. I'm assuming that as he's so tall, he'll have quite big feet. I believe there was a contestant last year who had quite large feet. It was mentioned once or twice or a billion times and it did my fucking head in

I read an interview with Louis Smith where he referred to a long term girlfriend who he broke up with last year and how gutted he was about it. Could all be smoke and mirrors of course, but why? I think he's straight- just well groomed

Drinking game for Colin will be mentions of James Bond - it's only been one show and I'm half cut already. I'm pleased to learn he's a musician, I feared that he would fall into the category of "hot blokes who can't dance so I'm ashamed to support him" (see also Mark Foster, Joe Calzaghe), but if he's got musicality then I can vote my little heart out with a clear conscience. He's going to need a chiropractor dancing with Kristyna though unless she dances in actual stilts.

It would be really really really funny if Flavia ended up with Louis in RL.

From TV show dancer - TV soap star - Movie star - Olympic star. That would be a good upgrade.

And I'd love it if Denise VO and James Jordan hate each other, each trying to outdo the other with hamming up for the cameras and their cheeky chappy personas
