do you know how old nicky h-j is? am rather Shocked at her too

Tutter · 10/03/2006 08:11

she's 34

Carmenere · 10/03/2006 08:25

Does anyone else think that the candidates would generally look about 5 years younger with just the clothes, hair and make up done?

Tutter · 10/03/2006 08:37

Not last night's. Sags and bags were her problem. I thought her new hair was rotten actually. Looked like a syrup.

noddyholder · 10/03/2006 08:39

She looked terrible afterwards I agree re the hair and I think the presenter has v dodgy taste in clothes way too many tacky accessories and lurid colours

Tutter · 10/03/2006 08:41

Oh and N H-J was so shocked at the blusher-on-nose-and-chin thing, but I (and friends) dab bronzer on forehead, nose and chin - it replicates what the sun would do to your face on holiday. She knows nowt that girl.

NomDePlume · 10/03/2006 08:42

That was the only one I've watched and been really disappointed with the end result. Her 'top quality' Russian extensions looked like a wig. The clothes were too muttony. She looked like a bloke in drag.

Carmenere · 10/03/2006 08:43

The presenter NH-J, styles the candidates to look like a slightly tackier version of her. They often look very similiar in the after shots. Trinny and Susannah do a much better job in suiting the clothes to the persons personality or lifestyle.
I agree the hair looked awful and that hairdresser is really patronising to the poor wretches whose main sin is that they can't afford £200 a month for cut and colour at his salon.

NomDePlume · 10/03/2006 08:45

But Tutter, there's a difference between pink blusher and golden bronzer applied to forehead, nose and chin. One makes you look sun-kissed, the other like a ruddy faced drunk.

Tutter · 10/03/2006 08:47

True, but who knows what colour blusher she wore. I often wear bronzer as blusher. It was n H-J who (slightly hysterically) scoffed at pick blusher on nose, patronising bint.

NomDePlume · 10/03/2006 08:49

she is v patronising, I'll agree with you on that one. I think she always sounds pretty shrill anyway, so who knows whether she was being hysterical. Anywho, the progaramme last night was crappola

quanglewangle · 10/03/2006 11:57

NH-J needs a Trinny and Susanna make-over. She dresses like a clown (imho) - a pretty clown, but a clown none the less.

NomDePlume · 10/03/2006 12:04

NHJ only seems to have the one 'look', skinny jeans, wide belt, grotesque boots, layered tops and stupid glasses.
