Did anyone else watch this last night, about the man who released his collection of 56 dangerous exotic animals before committing suicide? It was so heartbreaking to see all those animals shot dead especially the tigers when there are so few left in the wild but I don't think the police did the wrong thing, big cats are reisistant to tranquiliser and by the time it took effect they could easily have killed people. I'm wondering why the police didn't take action before the animals were released though, the owner was clearly mentally unstable and the cages not suitable for such strong animals I don't know why they weren't removed from his care to proper zoos before the incident.
