Home and away question

SO IN h&a the baby is in a incubator,
yet all and sundry go in and touch it with out washing their hands.
when dd was in SBU we had to wash hands and apply special stuff before touching her and she wasn't prem.

Home and Away doesn't waste time with the mundane business of hand washing as it would distract from the drama and hunky surfers!!
