It's on now.

Poor baby. He's such a beautiful boy too. I can't imagine the pain of seeing your child like that. Hope this is one of the more positive outcomes.

I know - I had tears in my eyes watching it. Such a beautiful baby. His mum looked beside herself.

VivaLeBeaver · 01/08/2012 21:12

Yep. Poor baby, lots of chest recession so looks like he's struggling with breathing as well.

Sirzy · 01/08/2012 21:12

I am but I don't know how long for. DS was rushed in at 8 weeks with bronchiolitis and the way the baby is breathing and all the panic around him make its hard to watch.

fivegomadindorset · 01/08/2012 21:12

I love this programme, so seinsitively done except when you get knobheads in who don't need to be there.

Orenishii · 01/08/2012 21:14

Oh, I'm watching it, seven months pregnant, sobbing my heart out. That poor mother, just her silent tears are killing me.

But I think - I hope - they won't show a baby dying. I think with the lovely old people that died later, it's slightly easier.

dontcallmehon · 01/08/2012 21:15

:( I know how horrible bronchiolitis is. ds was taken into hospital at 3 weeks although he did stabilise fairly quickly on oxygen. It is such a scary time.

AmberLeaf · 01/08/2012 21:15

In tears here. Reminded me of DS with pneumonia.

worryingwillow · 01/08/2012 21:15

Ds was in hospital at 3 and 6 weeks and I remember how terrified I was and how helpless I felt and that I was failing him somehow, not protecting him.

He wasn't anything like in as serious a condition as Jeziah. He is so beautiful, amazing big eyes.

Did they say if he was premature or why he was severely underweight?

A friends baby had a very rare liver cancer and deteriorated very quickly. Wonder if this is similar as he has a big liver.

AmberLeaf · 01/08/2012 21:31

Oh god I hope Jeziah is ok.

I need to get a grip!

VivaLeBeaver · 01/08/2012 21:32

SoleSource · 01/08/2012 21:40

Brings back painful memories here too. Please please please let the baby be OK. The stroke guy. Poor thing and that Doctor is well fit.

fivegomadindorset · 01/08/2012 21:40

I have recorded the whole series but I don't watch until I have checked on the Mumsnet threads about it so that I am prepared for the sad stories.

Have been at Kings with my dd with bronchiolitis so it will bring back memories.

greenwichgroove · 01/08/2012 21:42

Me neither sarge. The old man who came in with his wife who asks if he can stay with her till she goes home makes me sob and they show it at start of every show.

Its 9 year old dd1s favourite show.
