Says in the TV guide that it is part one of a two parter. Does anyone know when part two is on?

According to the TV guide in my newspaper, the second part is next Saturday.

I don't like the actor who plays Kurt in this version (well, I don't mean I don't like him, just that in my imagination Kurt is different), I much prefer the other Swedish version.

Cheers, thought it would be but my guide didn't say. Yeah, the other Wallander is much better but I take what I can when it comes to Scandinavian crime drama!

A Swedish Wallander-how did I miss that this was on??

I prefer the other "Kurt"-Krister(?) something.

But anyone is better than K Brannagh imo.

OlaRapaceFru · 29/07/2012 20:09

diddl, this is the one www.imdb.com/title/tt0907702/ with Krister Henricksson (and, of course, Ola Rapace!) - brilliant series Grin

diddl · 29/07/2012 22:40

I think I´ve seen all of those-I love that version.

Just watched the one from last night & don´t think I´ve seen it.

ramonasinger · 30/07/2012 18:54

are there two actors that play the swedish wallander, ive only ever seen the one actor (not including branagh)

OlaRapaceFru · 30/07/2012 19:25

Yes, Krister Henricksson plays Wallander in the one that I think most of us ScandiFans know/like the best (see my link above).

The other Wallander actor is Rolf Lassgard (the version I don't like).

Branagh is NOT, and will never be, Wallander!!!!

ramonasinger · 30/07/2012 19:33

no he is wrong for the part and whilst i am sure he is a nice bloke his acting is quite bad in it.

diddl · 30/07/2012 19:41

The one that was on Saturday-Sidelined(?)-has it also been made with Krister Henricksson?

OlaRapaceFru · 30/07/2012 19:49

I don't know diddl.
Might it be Sidetracked? It might have been done in the 2010 season with Krister H?

diddl · 30/07/2012 19:59

SidetrackedBlush

Can´t see it listed with Krister H.

Well, no matter.

Aquelven · 30/07/2012 20:05

Didn't the Kenneth Branagh version do it in the first series?

diddl · 30/07/2012 20:09

I think so as I did get sucked into that before I found the authentic ones!

I have seen that scene & I think it was KB.

Also Rolf Lassgärd did 9-all the novels (bar the last) I think.

I think the KH one was a series based on the characters(?)

OlaRapaceFru · 30/07/2012 20:17

I was only guessing at Sidetracked - as opposed to Sidelined, diddl (my English/Swedish translation isn't good - apart from help from Google Translate!).

Honestly, I really don't know! I think I'll have to buy the whole (Krister) series from Amazon anyway Grin.

Sorry, Aquelven, us ScandiFans don't acknowledge the English/Branagh version at all Wink

OlaRapaceFru · 30/07/2012 20:23

Hey - diddl - Sidetracked en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidetracked_%28novel%29. Is this the one? But possibly not done in the Krister series?

diddl · 30/07/2012 21:05

Yes-that´s it.

Next part on Saturday.

I watched some of the KB one as I remember the opening scene.
