The Lingo Show.. Anyone watch it?

I love the idea of children learning new languages, but its always the same bloody bugs!
The Spanish speaking one, the Mandarin speaking one or the French speaking one. In the introduction I'm sure there are about 7 but we have never seen them. Has anyone else?

Its mostly online - if you go to show page you get all the languages.

DS loves learning a few words of different languages (he does french and german at school) so has spent a while on there

I thought it was rubbish. To be fair I've only seen it twice, but I was really surprised that they teach such a limited amount of language - six words in an episode and only three of them repeated enough to have any chance of sticking. I also found it really strange in the one I saw (also Spanish!!) that they just didn't maximise obvious opportunities to use language. For example there was a lot of praise and 'well done' being used, but it was all done in English. That kind of incidental language is the language kids tend to remember the best. And there are two language consultants involved according to the credits - they could get the same effect from a dictionary and CDRom for pronunciation
