Really? I must have watched a different programme, after hearing that the pevious special was rubbish I didn't watch it and didn't have any expectations about yesterday's so was pleasantly surprised.

Not laugh out loud but definitely some smiles and much better than expected.

Cringed my way through most of it. It seemed so wooden in places, like people were just going through the motions. Edina & Bubble seemed like the only ones really giving it any welly & the whole "door closing" stuff made me feel depressed too!

Maybe it's partly an age thing but I loved it and laughed out loud on my own at most of it. ( The first scene was weak though and I'd agree a bit too forced). I have talked to a couple of my friends about it and they all laughed too. I loved the whole "I'm not old, I'm young" thing. The control pants, the glasses, the putting on make-up with a stencil or a magnifying glass because you can't see any more but won't admit it! - loved it!
