I think he is quite charmingly arch about the fact he is on a childrens tv programme with some spider hand puppets lockets
I mean I think he knows it is all a bit ridiculous
but he is quite enjoying it anyway

Your all mad, he IS really bored there it looks like there is no one inexistence for miles around him and those puppets. It seems he is all alone in the studio, not even a security guard at the door or a camera man filming him, he's set it all up by himself.

Pete is Boogie Beebies grits his teeth all the time. He looks like he either has painful piles and it trying to smile through it, or else he is about to punch your lights out.
