Can't answer the no patients question though. lol. The Mill and Campus are no goes as far as patients are concerned.

I used to work with someone who did extra work. He's been in doctors twice and Hustle once. He applied for come dine with me but got turned down.

By the way, the Spoilers are out for w/c 27th August, but they haven't published one for Friday 31st.

Why? Generally they publish Mon-Fri in one go.

I want to be a Doctors extra! I promise not to make bunny ears behind Daniel, or actually look ill or anything. I will practice my 'walk across campus'. I can supply children, if a family is required

I don't live anywhere near Birmingham, however, so If I could film my scenes at home, that would be great. TIA.

Of course extras sometimes get above their station. I was watching Eastenders once, and Tracey the bar maid had an entire conversation with Phil. I was so shocked by this turn of events, I started a thread.
It hasn't happened since...

Why stop at being an extra? Didn't her that plays Immie just volunteer as she thought the Gobbys needed a family? And she can't act at all, so no worries there.

I might volunteer to be Mandy's murderous friend. . Or the rightful owner of the Gobby Plod's house.

Just read the spoilers. Can't wait for the episode where the Gobbys argue over whether they need a new sofa.

How about a spin off series? Or a 'late night' Doctors.

Spin off-

'Meet the Gobbyplods'. This would be a sitcom obvs. Lots of hilarious misunderstandings.

The spin off would have to feature canned laughter- and an opening sequence like the Simpsons.

Late night Doctors would feature Mrs T and Heston on an illicit holiday in Tuscany...

Ooh yes-a hilarious opening sequence featuring Rob driving his police car into the drive and nearly running Immie over.

Then they all leap on the (new?) sofa at the end.

Might give the late night one a miss Raahh.

I don't mind normal extras, but it is specifically the ones they have being nurses / HCAs milling around in the background. Why have them? Surely they are superfluous? They don't go to staff meetings / meals at Juuuuuulia's house / do home visits.

actually, doh, can't believe i forgot to mention this. My bf's oldest friend is an actress and has had proper patient roles in THREE episodes...playing an entirely different person each time!

Will have to ask her what they're all like irl...

Nah Sparkling. A young boy prowling round with a lamp in a oldey wordly type setting. Shadows at windows. A bit of howling... It didn't spook me I say that until I have to get up for a wee in the night

MsNobody- I have tried 3 times to watch 'Woman in Black'. Just couldn't get into it at all. I just can't get past the fact I am watching Harry Potter, and he only seems to have one facial expression. Plus, Arthur Kipps was the name if the bloke in 'Half a Sixpence'- so I get confused

It really was craptaculer. I enjoyed my other film more 'Carnage'. Lots of bickering about parenting and people getting drunk.
