Sorry I've not been around - RL got in the way Sad

How long are they taking Doctors off air for this time????

It is the only thing getting me through my new job. Smile

DoctorsOnly · 26/07/2012 23:05

Sharpkat it comes back on August 13th. So it is just 2 or so weeks.

I hope your new job is ok. And oh yes, re RL getting in the way...I think we all understand that one Smile so no need to apologise.

just seen it on catch up, obviously last 5 mins was a bit juicy, if predictable especially if you'd read the spoilers. This thread makes up for the mainly crap episodes of late! Thank you all

DoctorsOnly · 26/07/2012 23:51

I have not watched it yet. I am saving it. How sad is that?

OP posts:
lilolilmanchester · 26/07/2012 23:56

gosh, that's restrained!

Went to watch it on catch-up after work, and unusually it wasn't yet available. Checked every 5 minutes getting increasingly annoyed til it came on .... now that's sad.... Blush

DoctorsOnly · 27/07/2012 00:29

I had a shit day. But will watch it tomorrow. The only things I watched today were Come Dine With Me and Four In A Bed.

Classy. :)

OP posts:
lilolilmanchester · 27/07/2012 00:34

Sad sorry to hear that Doctorsonly... hope you're ok.

Bit of "classy" telly sounds like just what you need right now x

DoctorsOnly · 27/07/2012 08:22

Just watched it Grin

Points of note:

  • I fancied Drake until he used the word 'chillax'
  • I was glad I went off him as he then turned out to be 15 (ok, I know it's not real but Blush all the same)
  • Arf at Jack telling Immie to be professional
  • Princess Bubblegum is not a pretty sight when drunk and that laugh. Stab, stab, stab
  • The ending was good though

I too hope they don't go down the baby route. I just hope it's the guilt route. Eating away at them both until one of them blurts it out in an argument.

Well that's it til the 13th Sad. I'll just go and cry into my cornflakes...

"I was glad I went off him as he then turned out to be 15 (ok, I know it's not real but Blush all the same)" - that's just way too funny Doctorsonly!

DoctorsOnly · 27/07/2012 10:52

Grin lilolilmanchester. Your name always makes me smile.

In my defence, I bet the 'actor' that played him was about 20-odd in RL, like Immie is.

Oh, and saddo that I am...Doctors spoilers will be updated on Digital Spy on 4th August. I did say I wasn't going to read them but I am a liar with no self restraint.

toldmywrath · 27/07/2012 18:45

LilolilI too kept checking catch up & gave up & went to bed. My daughter came up to bed about 10.30ish & said "good news, mum, Doctors is on replay now" She burst out laughing when she saw the look of joy/relief on my face.
DoctorsOnly -blimey we watch the same quality programmes-Four in a Bed & Come Dine with Me. Do you watch Holby as well (Raahh name check here)

DoctorsOnly · 27/07/2012 19:12

Grin at toldmywrath and you fretting over Doctors.

As for Holby, no, I've never got on with any other medical problems (like Doctors is medical Grin. They never have any patients!).

I like to stay in my crap quality tv programme bubble of Four in A Bed, Come Dine With Me, Top Model, Masterchef, Hotel Inspector and Jeremy Kyle Blush. The SHAME!

Name changed to remind us of Doctors Doctors Just seen Wallander giving a Shakespeare speech dressed up as Isambard Kingdom Brunel (??BBCONE)

DoctorsOnly · 27/07/2012 21:35

Oh, good name change reminder told.

I have BBC1 on record so I can watch it with my DCs tomorrow. I briefly flicked over a minute ago. It looks amazing.

OP posts:
DoctorsOnly · 28/07/2012 16:22

Well, it was an amazing ceremony. The only thing it lacked was Mrs T in a shellsuit looking prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroud. Grin

OP posts:
BiscuitNibbler · 28/07/2012 18:12

There were far too many patients in the NHS segment. Anyone who watches Doctors knows that there are 10 healthcare professionals for every one patient in the UK.

HaitchJay · 28/07/2012 19:38

Grin and patients should be at home not with other patients

SparklingGoldMedals · 28/07/2012 19:41

And Doctors should be doing home visits for no reason whatsoever to those patients. And digging up dead bodies in the garden of said patients.

I had a thought today re Chaniel. I wonder if they stopped before going any further, and didn't actually do the deed? Perhaps the next one will start with them putting their clothes back on?

RaahhningforGOLD · 28/07/2012 19:49

I got excited in the NHS bit- but no Mrs T. Or bean bags.Sad. It was a great ceremony, I thought- and I was a bit dubious at first, so was very, very pleased to be proved wrong.

And definitely too many patients in that segment- would have set Doctors up for the next 20 series, that number of kids!Grin

I am trying to bleach Chaniel from my brainGrin Princess Bubblegum is going to have a mahoosive hangover!Torch

DoctorsOnly · 31/07/2012 08:30

Just giving our thread a little bumpity bump. I don't like to see it so far down the page. I bet Princess Bubblegum needs Nurofen and a fry up after 'Merlot o'clock'.

I wonder what Olympic tickets Dok-tah Cah-tah would have purchased? Is there a cricket event? He's quite handy with a bat... Grin

Hi Doctors. I am missing it a bit. Sad it would have been nice to have something not sporty to watch in the middle of the day. Sad

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 31/07/2012 09:04

Bet old Heston would have been all about the women's beach volley ball ;) purely for their athleticism, naturally...

SparklingGoldMedals · 31/07/2012 09:13

And the Gobby plods would have got seats for something they could shriek at.

DoctorsOnly · 31/07/2012 09:15

Hi "Sparkling". I know. I miss it too. Sad. Spoilers are out on 4th August though!

Makes lol. Yes, he would be interested on a purely professional level Hmm Grin

OP posts:
RaahhningforGOLD · 31/07/2012 12:09

I bet Cherry would have lapped up the mens gymnastics. Looking for a Jimmi substitute, he's a bit weedy.

Mrs T is probably hiding behind Princess Anne at the show jumping, wearing a naice hatGrin
