I've started 24 and love it so far!

Rachel130690 · 10/07/2012 23:48

24 is brilliant, also Jericho is very good.

UserNameNotAvailable · 13/07/2012 20:47

I've got the last episode of prison break to watch then I might start on dexter.
Df recommends Breaking Bad.

I also watch the USA Netflix and there is loads more on compared to UK Netflix

lauratheexplorer · 13/07/2012 20:49

I loved Jericho!

lauratheexplorer · 13/07/2012 20:50

How do you get the USA Netflix in the UK? Assuming you are, of course.

YouGoonie · 13/07/2012 21:18

I didn't know you could do that! I always get redirected to the UK site.

UserNameNotAvailable · 14/07/2012 00:26

I'm not sure how it's done but we watch it through the play station 3 and I think you need to unblock your ip. If you google it you might find the info to be able to do it.

fedup2012 · 14/07/2012 00:29

I found it full of second rate stuff - with the odd gem, but mostly not brilliant.

arghhhmiddleage · 14/07/2012 00:38

Trauma isn't bad, but go for 24 first :)

MrsJohnMurphy · 14/07/2012 02:04

I think I am on my fourth free month, but honestly it updates very very slowly, I would in no way pay for it.

Lots of people like breaking bad and prison break. I gave both a try but wasn't hooked.

Tortington · 14/07/2012 02:11

we did the free month

i watched bollywood films - i'm a sucker for bollywood

Kellamity · 14/07/2012 10:10

I started watching Numb3rs last night, it was ok, think I'll keep going. I've also started The Killing, that seems pretty good.

Breaking bad- amazing and heats up after season 1.
Perfect TV.

sharklet · 20/07/2012 04:22

I watch US Netflix, it is brilliant. TONS of content. We do not have normal TV we just stream Netflix and Hulu through our TV.

Can recommend Jericho, 24, Whatabout Brian, Eli Stone, Lost, Persons Unknown, The Event, and of course I watch of UK content through it too that you guys already get.

How did you manage to access US netflix? I tried my server proxy thingy but netflix would not accept my English credit card. The US site has so much more than the UK one.

YouOldSlag · 25/07/2012 22:43

I did a free trial and wasn't impressed. We had it via the Wii ans it made my eyes go crossed by scrolling too fast. When I tried to look at a film's details, it would play the film instead of giving me the info.

Also, I wasn't impressed with the range of the films, they all seemed a bit freeview in quality. No Harry Potter, no decent Meryl Streep films.. all a bit meh.

sharklet · 26/07/2012 17:47

MrsJoeDuffy I live in Las Vegas. If I could easily get British TV without it costing a fortune or infecting my computer with nasty viruses I would. Not sure what content they have on the UK site, but I would imagine it will grow. They are always adding new stuff as they get permission. I don't get it for the films, but for the huge TV content. We use it and Hulu Plus instead of terrestrial TV which her in the US is ridiculously expensive and full of shite. There are some great shows don't get me wrong, but finding them is awful, and when you want to watch nothing is on! I can also watch on my laptop, IPAD or phone as well, which I don't often - but it is nice to have the option.

SophySinclair · 27/07/2012 21:21

sharklet I use overplay.net for my proxy telly needs. It costs me £5 per month and doesn't infect with anything happily :)
