anyone watching the current series on Ch4? I don't think I like Amanda.

She's vile! I think she may have some sort of personality disorder! Horrible, horrible, horrible.
Ok, the Richmond could have done with a clean but it was the way she went about it. All condescending and mean. Simply because they scored her 8 out of 10 because of the smeary glasses. Vile.
I hope she doesn't win, although I fear she might. Her hotel is lovely but she hasn't done herself any favours, I certainly wouldn't stop there now. (not that it was ever likely I would but still. It's the principle.)

I think she could win simply because she was first and I think she will go out of her way to underscore and pick fault with the others.

The Richmond was dirty in places but the other 2 didn't seem to have such dirty rooms, and Amanda was quite happy to eat the Thai food - which it seems she wasn't paying for, but wouldn't eat breakfast, cooked on the same premises!

She was pretty vile again today too.

Yes they may well win because no-one realised how awful dhe was at the beginning of the week.

I wouldn't go to her place if you paid me. So petty and nasty.

Her Dh seems to be a bit of a case aswell.

I don't like her personality. She seems bent on revenge and up for a scrap all the time. A bit spoilt.

BUT If the room was ikky as in that shower outlet. I certainly would be thinking of that and gipping at breakfast time. If it's dirty in the places you can see what about the 'private' areas?

lonelylou - but she ate the evening meal there, owuld it not be cooked in the same kitchen as the breakfast?

Can i just say that DH and I must be quite relaxed when we go to stay in places as i certainly don't strip teh bed or pull the bath drainer thingy out each time I stay somewhere

She's mad! All this 'ive got your cards marked...' business. Who does she think she is? If she wins I can't see the others being pleased for her. If I was taking part I would massively overpay the other contestants just to make sure Amanda didn't win. Today's did quite well, I'm hoping they might just beat her to it. I would have paid them double the room rate, especially if I was those guys from yesterday who clearly have no chance of winning. Just so she didn't win.

Oh aye that woman who they stay with tomorrow doesn't stand a chance.

Her behaviour has defintely put me off ever staying at the place in Thirsk. and the DH jsut seems to go along with her.
if I'd said to DH "if you put any money in that envelope I'm leaving" he'd say "cheerio"

I don't think she's realised her behaviour is going to affect her business in the long run... Silly woman

and also (am on a roll now) if I'd stayed somewhere where there was feather duvets and pillows, then I'd be in hospital with an asthma attack.

I said to dh I want to book into hers then find fault and demand a full refund, dinner at the local pub and a chocolate making session. She's down right rude and no manners and no wonder the rest of them are getting fed up.

She really enjoyed finding fault too. It goes against the image of nice welcoming b and b owners. Maybe it was edited so she seemed worse than she is

She did, she said "Bingo" when she saw the mattress stain.
She even said that it was "3 star not our usual standard"
Was a bit alarmed whens he said she was getting the knives out or going to knife Irene tomorow or words to that effect

Yep, I think Irene is in line for a lot of complaints from Amanda today. She is something else, and I agree her husband just goes along with her!!

Have only recently had British TV set up at home so have become addicted to this and Come Dine with Me as they are on before my husband gets home.

I wonder if people realise how bloody awful they come across to be on TV. Do that couple not realise how many people are judging them right now for being utter twats?

i really hope they dont win. if i was the other couples id plot to pay the remaining b&bs twice or even three times the going rate just to make sure that the first didnt win.

I think they should have been disqualified after not coming for breakfast when they said they would.
