Bethenny Ever After/ Getting Married its back

E1 tomorrow at 10pm.

It should be called Bethenny Ever After but is on Sky+ as Bethenny Getting Married (Season 2).

Am I the only one that doesn't like Bethenny? What happened between her and her parents? Its hasn't been clear, unless I missed it.

Her parents divorced very young and she was basically dragged up (her words), her father was a famous race horse trainer and she spent years at the track perfecting her wit and sarcasm Wink

I really don't like her in that show she has. I enjoyed the meltdown on Scarey Island. I wonder how much the tv company coughs up for these little trips.

Something in Bethennys upbringing must've been right. She's clearly educated.

I'm about to watch Ramonas wedding.

How successful she is. She must've had some input from her family somewhere. She doesn't seem to have been dragged up in the way you would think. She has said she had no parents but, who was feeding, clothing and educating her? It's not very clear in the show.

So, the wedding was the last one. Do they all come back in Season 4? By the end of this one I had forgotten what Jill had done!!!

She had many contacts through her father apparently. She had step parents and parents but disowned them.

According to wikipedia she went to Boston uni - wonder who paid for that as college is about 50,000 dollars minimum in the US!

Maybe when she talks about being dragged up she means she didn't come from 'family money?'

That's what I mean. If it was uk based we could know what dragged up means but she doesn't strike me as been brought up on welfare!! I'm sure she speaks fluent French and went to cooking school in Paris, unless I miss heard her.

Maybe dragged up refers to no love in the home rather than material goods?

Well that doesn't surprise, they've only known each other five minutes. And that flat is tiny for three of them.

To not talk to your parents suggests it was something pretty nasty. And yet she knew all her dads acquaintances so, it's not like she had no contact. I wonder what really went on?

Iirc she was passed between her parents a lot - didn't sound very nice.

It's a 3 bed flat and one of the beds is used as an office - huge for NY! Grin

She hasn't had any plastic surgery done as such - injectables don't count as plastic surgery apparently so she has fillers, botox and a non invasive face lift using needles Grin

Her legs are amazing, she has such a great figure. I'd kill to look like her now let alone when I am 50 plus.

The daughter is very normal. Infact none of their children have been dressed like accessories. The girls are just ordinary looking, which is nice. I hope they go on to uni and become successful. I've never seen that in any of the other housewives series.

LOve Bethenny but would hate to be on the wrong side of her.She makes me roar with laughter
Alex, Simon- I'd say the most genuine ones- they are gaga wannabees but dont hide it.
Jill- eeek vile.
Kelly- who thought it was a good idea for her to join the show?? I'd guess she has substance abuse or emotional probs, I really felt sorry for her at the end Confused
Luanne- snobby drag queen Grin

I think she could have been more gracious, however she made it clear that she didn't want a centre of attention moment. I think Jason read the situation wrong and gave her what HE would have wanted. It was nice to see Ramona and alexandsimon ( been very busy = yeah right).

She said herself that she loves being centre of attention. She is a control freak and definitely doesn't like surprises, even nice ones. Lots of baggage especially regarding birthdays. Next week, her mother has been up to something.

I have been hearing loads about RHoNJ Series 4 but can't find out if it will be shown here. It airs on Bravo in the US and used to be broadcast on C4.

I've stopped watching, I just don't like her. I expect Jason has been used as a baby daddy. I'm sticking with Real Housewives and she's never been mentioned in it!!! So much for them being friends.
